Peyton Lilly Tafoya

Please welcome Peyton Lilly, the newest member of the Tafoya family! This beautiful baby girl belongs to Marcus and Amanda Tafoya. Peyton is also Tommy's first grandchild, officially making him Papa Tommy! The family is doing great and everyone is happy and healthy!

Tom Martinez

On July 9th, Tom got his first ever hole-in-one on the par 3, 158 yard, 3rd hole at Davis Municipal Golf Course. Tom grabbed his 5-wood and took aim at the hidden green. Thinking his shot went long, he looked around for his ball with no success until he looked in the last place he expected to find it... in the CUP!! Callaway Golf recognized his accomplishment with a personalized plaque! Look out for Tom (a.k.a. Ace) and his trusty 5-wood at the family golf outing!!

Izzabella 'Izzie' Tafoya

Please welcome Izzie, the newest member of the Tafoya family! This beautiful baby girl belongs to Randy Jr. and Amanda Tafoya. Mother and baby are happy and healthy! Congrats to the new family!

Bruce Tafoya

Bruce has won the 2009 International Maters and Seniors Brazilian Jiu Jitusu World Championship in Rio. He is the 2009 Black Belt Middle Weight World Champion!!

A few words from the champ, "This was the hardest competition I have ever been in for several reasons. One reason is that 2 of the 3 opponents each have nearly 30 years experience as a Black Belt, which means they probably have another 8 to 10 more years experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, so each has around 40 years experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!!!!". Congrats to Bruce!

Abby Mapalo

The Yolo Parks and Rec. program along with Yolo Stage Productions offers a 5 week program for kids ages 7-16. This years program put on Willy Wonka Jr. The program started on June 23rd and ended with performances on July 23,24,25,26th. This was Abby's first production. She played an Oompa Loompa and a Candyman Kid. She had an amazing time and plans on doing it again next year when they put on "School House Rocks". She's hoping to have a speaking role next year. Her family members are Mom (Anne), Dad (Robert), Jacob, Katie and Oscar (the dog).
